The weekend in Malta

The past week went by way too quickly, but we still have one week left and we are going to make the best of it!
This weekend was very nice!
On Friday we went to Paceville with a few friends from here. We had a very nice time together!
Saturday morning we slept a little bit longer, because we were really tired. After eating our breakfast we went to Sliema to do some shopping and had our lunch. In the afternoon we went to a swimming pool in Sliema. It is very good over there! We relaxed and tanned in the sun and could cool of in the water. In the evening we decided to eat something in Sliema, because our host had her family coming over for dinner. We ate at the restaurant by the swimming pool, which was really good!!
After dinner we went home and made ourselves ready for the night. We had a very good night!
Sunday morning we actually wanted to go to Mdina, the old capital city of Malta, but it was way too hot to do anything. So, we again went to the swimming pool and relaxed there the rest of the day. In the evening we decided to stay in, because we were very tired and had to work again today.
We watched a program and went to bed quite early.
The upcoming week is, sadly, our last week of our internship in Malta. We still have a lot of plans before leaving on Saturday.
Tonight we will be going to the Welcome Party of AM-language to meet the people who arrived last weekend. Last week this was a very good one, so I think it will be nice!
On Wednesday we are going out for dinner with our host.
Thursday is our last day of working, because Friday we have our last day off.
Friday we will visit Blue Lagoon on the island Comino and pack our bags. On Saturday it is Sylvia’s birthday so we will be celebrating it Friday evening.
Saturday morning we will have to leave for the airport at 4.30 and fly back at 7.40.
As you can see we have a full agenda the upcoming week and I hope that we will have a great time! Right now I don’t want to go home yet, because our time here has been absolutely amazing until now.
I will post pictures from the trip after arriving back in the Netherlands, because the internet connection is not very good here.

Hoi Tessa! Klinkt super allemaal. Leuk, hoor! Zo te horen een hele ervaring en een heleboel feestjes en shoppings. Hahahaha. Geniet er nog van en tot over een week!
